After moving to fibre, most alarms can be monitored with the addition of an auxiliary device for either Ethernet or 4G.  We are able to facilitate the installation of these units as well as servicing of your alarm to ensure fault free operation before commencing monitoring.

If a false alarm occurs, it’s important to quickly communicate with the monitoring station to prevent unnecessary emergency callouts if automatic guard dispatch is enabled on your account and prevent unnecessary costs. If the false alarm was as a result of a failing component this is a great time to organise a site visit so our technicians can repair your unit to prevent further nuisance.

Alarm monitoring connection SPECIAL

Depending on the age of you current alarm and the network it is connected to, an additional networks communications unit may be required to be installed at a one-off cost between $400-$550.  For Garrison clients this equipment is FREE of charge and only a callout labor charge is billed. If your current alarm is designed for analogue phone lines only, and you no longer have an analogue phone connection – it will need to be configured to connect to use the cellular networkthe internet, or via radio signals. For these options to be taken advantage of, a technician will be required on site to install and set up the network communications unit.
